Delivering Enterprise IT Services Support to Thousands of Users in Federal Bureaus

Truestone provided Enterprise IT Core Services Support to over 12,000 data and 20,000 voice users in over 50 customer organizations across three bureaus for the Department of the Interior. We delivered Unified Service Desk support and full Asset Management services. Truestone also provided application research, test lab analysis, development, fielding, and lifecycle support of Enterprise web applications. Truestone met and then exceeded contractual Service Level Agreements (SLA) while implementing continuous service improvement projects resulting in greater than 15% operating cost reductions.

  • Specific services included Enterprise Systems administration, disaster recovery/ Continuity of Operations (COOP), domain and network administration, database administration, web server administration and support, and data backup and storage.
  • Truestone handled day-to-day operations of core infrastructure services including Directory Services, DNS, Group Policy, authentication and authorization.
  • Truestone managed the web development team projects using Agile software development methodologies.
  • Full Systems Management support included operations at four primary and multiple subsidiary locations through the United States.
  • Engineers with high-level security certifications in Risk Assessment, Compliance, Audit, Security Assessment, Forensic Analysis, and Incident Handling investigated suspected vulnerabilities.
