Truestone Communications Wins Key Healthcare
Competitive Award
March 2011 - Truestone Communications has been awarded a five year multi-million dollar contract in support of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)--Federal Occupation Health (FOH). The award was based on a competitive procurement. Truestone will be a lead subcontractor to Prince of Wales Tribal Enterprise Consortium, LLC (POWTEC), an Alaskan Native Corporation. Over the past eight years, Truestone served as an incumbent at FOH. Truestone is pleased to be able to continue this strategic partnership. The Truestone project team will perform multiple roles in multiple locations across the United States.
Truestone's support will include:
- Cyber Security and Information Assurance
- Enterprise IT Support to include Network Administration, Systems Administration, Database Administration, Help Desk Support
- Program and Project Management
- Business Systems Analysis
Federal Occupational Health (FOH) is a non-appropriated agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) that provides occupational health and wellness services exclusively to federal employees. FOH works in partnership with federal organizations nationally and internationally to design and deliver comprehensive solutions to meet their occupational health needs. FOH is the largest provider of occupational health services in the federal government, serving more than 360 federal agencies and reaching 1.8 million federal employees. Clinical services, including emergency response; physical exams; immunizations; vision and health screenings; and health risk appraisals are available at FOH's 298 Health and Wellness Centers located in federal buildings throughout the United States and through a large network of more than 15,000 private-provider physicians and nurses.
